Here is why! That would mean that the account and routing info on our tax returns is not what the irs was given. So I suggest everyone that had fees taken out of their refund to request a transcript for 2019 and compare it to the one you printed or saved when you filed 2019. If those numbers dont match then that means TT altered our returns and changed the account number before sending the forms to the IRS and that would open them to a huge class action lawsuit. Article says that over 20 million people could be affected by these tax preparers **bleep** up!

Yes luckily it did. I had to re input my actually banking and routing number dont know how long it will take now!!! Huge inconvenience. Hope everyone gets there checks soon #AmericaStrong

I will be using something else next year as well and no matter what service I use I will never get their debit card again and will pay fees upfront! This is bull**bleep**. Funny thing is I called TT after I found this article and guy told me that I was wrong and that what I said wasnt true! I told him to **bleep** off and that it is true because it is coming from the irs and other high up financial people and didnt just point them out but also the others. He told me I didnt need to share the info with anyone so first thing I did was come here and share it so the truth could come out

Has anyone that got locked out of the irs tool been able to get back in? If so did you wait 24 hours before trying again at all or was it 24 hours after your first got lock out message?

Yes 🙏🏼 I updated my bank information because I do not trust my money to be deposited into my turbo tax card.
