@Farolyn1 I just call this number until I get through so you don't have to go through all the prompts to get someone. Sometimes this number asks for a extension sometimes not idk why if it does though type on 652 the number is [phone number removed] hope this helps. 38 days ago I efiled and accepted 34 days ago. Hopefully we all get them soon. Mine was showing incorrect info entered when I knew it was right after 3 days it went back to bars and now for 2 weeks it's been still processing with no bars. I've called and am being told they have less people working due to budget cuts so it's gonna be 10-13 weeks and then I was also told because they didn't have enough time to implement the new stuff from the packages a bunch of refunds are getting flagged and that's why they are going to the ERS department (errors) because it looks like because of the stimulus we are got a deposit from the irs for 2020. Even though there is nothing wrong with our refund and if there is something it'll show there is a correspondence being mailed or to call. I'm growing impatient too. I really hope we all see our money soon

I filed my return on feb 13th and it was accepted i have been checking the status and kept saying processing for over a month now i tried to check status and its saying my information is incorrect and i know its correct what does this mean could it just be updating?
So did you ever get it and if so..when???
They ended up taking all of my refund away the irs i am still waiting on notice and mail from them saying why and where its going to said 2 weeks barley been a week but i can show u screen shot of what my says.
Also only when u do the irs only input how much your federal tax return is only dont add up state and fed only input ur fed return i figureed that out after a momth and half but still said it was wrong after then i check a week later finaly got notice so nowbwaiting for real 1 to come in mail. I got accepted the same day i filed on Feb 22nd and i got my state but when i was on the app it was saying they received it and then it said they will let me know when i have an available date and i just checked and now it's saying I'm putting in the wrong information but it's saved all the other times i checked it keep my information i just hit summit now it's saying it's the incorrect information i looked it up and it said sometimes it says that because they working on it but nobody else has this problems when it said they will let them know when they have an available date it told them
Same here i hope they are just updating my status because it has been way past 21 days and nothing but confusion when dealing with tax return would like to get my money and be done with it already guess i will keep checking and see if it lets me see my status fingers crossed they are updating things.
I think it's a wmr glitch my info worked before now all of the sudden wmr can't recognize anything
My return was accepted on Feb 12 and I still don't have my refund or anyway to check on it on their website. Every time that I try, it tells me that my info is wrong. How can I screw up my own social, filing status and refund amount that is plastered on all of my tax documents? I read the generic FAQ responses here and those don't work. The IRS phone number for individuals literally tells you that it doesn't work and the stupid refund tracker is broken as well. Are we all just expected to take this? 😤
The hotline does the same thing as the website. Neither one is working.
Due to the ongoing effects of the pandemic, the IRS is experiencing major delays which also includes updates on WMR. Having said that, there are other reasons for there being no record of a return on WMR and those reasons can be viewed here.
why am I getting the messege that there’s an error in my info from its.gov
