“You posted to a thread 3 years old” was shady for no reason. Regardless of when it was posted or when the IRS starts accepting. My answer is correct. The refund advance option won’t show until the IRS start accepting. The guy clearly stated he meets the requirements. You didn’t address the actual issue. Have the day you deserve
Not sure what you mean by "the refund advance option won't show until the IRS starts accepting." We have seen quite a few users who have been offered the advance this year when they were ready to file. If the advance is not being offered to you this year, it might be that you are not eligible. The advance is not paid until the IRS opens and begins to accept e-files.
I have met all of the eligibility requirements, and refund advance has never been an option. I've always made sure that I meet the requirements, and yet it has never been an option. Is there a hidden eligibility? Sorry if this comes off as sarcastic, but all of the responses we've been given have been the same. As if we haven't gone to read the requirements. Customers are telling you they meet the requirements, but we're not being given a reason why we aren't even being given the option of approval, except the reposting of the eligibility info (which at this point seems a tad condescending).
No one in the user forum is involved with the advance -- we have no control and cannot see your information. We can give you a link to the information, and some of the eligibility criteria. We have no ability to help you get the advance.
For further help use the links and information provided already.
Have you found any way around this yet?

I chose the 5 day early refund because I didn't see an option for the Advance. From earlier instructions, it makes it sound like the Advance option would be on this same page. The comment above makes it seem like the Advance option is not on this same page or that you have to choose NOT to get it 5 days early in order for it to show up. If that's the case, that should be made clear so people don't think it's not an option for them and decide to choose the 5 day early option. :( Now, I have already filed, thinking I had no option to get the Advance.
Both methods get your refund up to 5 days early.
The difference is that the 5 Day Early Refund can go into your current bank account, where with the Refund Advance Loan, you need to have an account with Credit Karma.
