I used TT to file my taxes last year. When doing so, I selected to have my
costs pulled from my federal return. My federal refund, like a lot of others, took months to get. Prior to getting my refund, TT notified me that they weren’t going to wait any longer to collect their fees and they would be charging me within 2 days of that email. And they did just that. The only problem with this is, I was still charged the $40 processing fee as if they they took fees from my refund when they did not do that. I have gone on the TT app and the only thing I can get associated with last year is a copy of my actual return, where I see I was still charged the processing fee, though because TT took their fee out of my account prior to me receiving my return, this shouldn’t have happened. Where can I get the actual receipt of what I was charged?
