Duplicate my 1099 two times made it seem like my income was double the original amount
I suggest deleting the original entry for the 1099 and re-enter to see if that helps.
My unemployment is28,343 00 n u put 2,8343 00000 so u have me paying 944,343 u need to check this out because i didnt work last year
I am a medical student and did not work for a salary. I did not received a W-2, just a 1098-T (with a net negative scholarship to payment ratio). Yet during the Fed Taxes section TT said I have an income (Wage and Salary) of $13,000. Any idea where that came from?
If your 1098-T box 1 is bigger than box 5, you should not have income.

Issue with 2017 and 2018 tax returns. Intuit incorrectly filed my returns. I had indirect rollovers both years. I reported and my saved printed copies so correctly. However when Intuit efiled the line where you report distribution and put ROLLOVER notation is not correct. Instead of having the word ROLLOVER and a box a and b, it only shows a line for taxable amount.
Thus IRS thinks I didn't report. I have copy of return as filed with IRS and copy of return from Intuit. They're wanting to charge massive penalties. Please help.
The return was file on March 2021 for tax year 2020. I exceeded the gross income of $112.500 and TurboTax did not correctly posted the refund amount correctly. the expected refund was $4843, the IRS will refund $4336.92.
The refund is a calculated amount. You have to find what line above did the IRS change? Do you agree with all the other lines on your return?
A common adjustment is if you claimed the Recovery rebate credit on 1040 line 30 when you already got the Stimulus payment or got the second one after you filed or reported the wrong amounts or entered them in the wrong box. Do you have an amount on line 30?
Yes I have an amount on line 30.
The IRS will mail a letter of explanation which I am sure will include a few dollars of interest since the IRS is taking so long to process returns this year.
OK. Thank you.
2019 tax I owe 2000 because turbo didn’t include health care market
I do not know if an error was in my 2020 return. The problem, I think was with the conversion to the Roth IRA, which was not reported in a separate 1099R, and was not asked by Turbo Tax.
Roth conversion questions are part of the 1099-R input section so if they were not presented you made a wrong turn or left that section too soon. On the 2020 return there were no RMD requirements so even if you did take an RMD you had to say no so you could get to those questions.
I received a notice from the IRS that they made a change to my taxes that TurboTax filed out on my behalf
