Have you received your refund yet? I haven't.. my 21 days was up on the 21st
The 21 days is an IRS target, it is not a guarantee.
Did you e-file your tax return and was it accepted?
Only the IRS and your State control when and if a Federal or State tax refund is Approved and Issued.
You complete your tax return by finishing all 3 Steps in the File section. In Step 3, to e-file your tax return, you must click on the large button labeled "Transmit my returns now".
After completing the File section and e-filing your tax return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first email when your tax return was transmitted and the second email when the tax return has either been accepted or rejected.
Note - Once a tax return has been Accepted by the IRS or a State, TurboTax receives no further information concerning the tax return or the status of any tax refund. Only the taxpayer listed on the tax return can obtain the status of a tax refund or a tax return.
To check the status of an e-filed return, open up your desktop product or log into your TurboTax Online Account. You can find your status within the TurboTax product.
If accepted by the IRS use the federal tax refund website to check the refund status - https://www.irs.gov/refunds
If accepted by the state use this TurboTax support FAQ to check the state tax refund status - https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1899433-how-do-i-track-my-state-refund
After the tax return has been Accepted by the IRS (meaning only that they received the return) it will be in the Processing mode until the tax refund has been Approved and then an Issue Date will be available on the IRS website.

Ok so this is another question. If I amend the return from filed jointly to filed separately, then my spouse filed a separate return. Will his return get held up ? We filed separately last year and he claimed kids and so the child tax credits were paid to him so for us to receive the second half he actually needs to file separately again so if I do the amended return, can he go ahead and file his or would he have to wait till the amended was processed and if he went ahead and filed his return will it be held up until amended is processed?
Turbo Tax has no way of knowing if someone's return would be held by the IRS.
I don’t understand the account transcript suggestion. When I log-in I see no
option under tax transcript to see a date.
Once the IRS has begun processing your returns and they have an estimated date they will publish it.

what is going on with this. ?
You are always going to find someone else whose refund arrived faster, and someone who waited even longer than you. That is the way it goes. Returns are not processed “first in — first out.”
Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 35a of your 2021 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.

Just checked my transcripts. Has an issue date of 3-9-2022 so crossing my fingers it comes next week! Thanks for the info!
Me too I’m so Happy DDd 03/09. But I e heard so many bad reviews of this bank through Turbo Tax and Credit Karma holds your money for forever and take out extra hidden fees. Have you heard of such?
That simply means they haven’t processed it yet. They haven’t even touched it because my transcripts updated this morning with my DDD of 03/09 and I had to verify on 02/18 but they didn’t close it out until 02/24.
I have a question I've had the delay message since 1/25 and I did add a new baby and my i did add my 2 younger girls this year how long could it take to get my refund
When I check on my IRS account and look on your transcript which one shows the deposit date
The IRS has been severely backlogged for a long time. Many people are getting this message. TurboTax does not get any information after you file your tax return so no one at TT knows a specific reason why you are getting that message. If the IRS wants any other information from you they will let you know by letter. Meanwhile all you can do is wait patiently and watch the IRS site. The IRS is your only source of information.
When you go on your account i r s website which transcript do you look under to get the deposit date
Use the IRS refund site to get your refund date.
