This is an old thread, do you still need assistance with saving? If so, are you trying to save a tax file or a PDF?
The old thread at least pointed me in the right direction, and I solved my problem. I had a similar problem a couple years ago when I moved TurboTax from an old computer to a new one. Thanks again.
I purchased Turbo Tax today through Costco. I filled out the entire tax questionnaire. I'm at the point where it says: "Do you want to keep this new document?" It asks me to create a password and a security question. The form will not accept a password and keeps telling me I'll delete the document if I don't save it. I'm STUCK.
It would be best to give us a call here, so we can better assist you. @GoingInsane
I solved my problem by opening Windows Settings and allowing TurboTax to save the file. For some reason the TurboTax installation process had not accomplished this. Thanks for your reply.
