TurboTax assured me that I would receive my refund on March 6 what's the delay

TurboTax gave you an estimated date for your refund--not a promise.   TurboTax does not control when the IRS will issue your refund.

First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:

Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control.  TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 35a of your 2021 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.

it was not an assured date - do you see "assured" anywhere with that date?  in any case many refunds are taking 4 weeks this year and the iRS has just started sending out refunds for taxpayers who claimed certain credits.

many early filers, those that submitted their return before e-filing officially opened, are experiencing even longer delays.
