Same exact thing happened to me I'm being charged even though they advertise " TURBOTAX" WHOLE POINT OF PAYING THE FEE TO RECEIVE REFUND FASTER NOT ONLY HAVE I NOT RECEIVED OT BUT NOW BEING CHARGED FOR A SERVICE AND THEIR SO CALLED EXPERTS CANT EVEN HELP.. LOL SERIOUSLY TURBOTAX YOU ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL
You misunderstood something. There is no fee or way to get a refund faster. In fact by having the fees deducted from your refund may add a couple days to it since the refund has to go through the 3rd party bank to take the fees out. And there is no way to speed up the IRS.
If the IRS is taking too long to send your refund you still have to pay the fees in time. After 36 days after your original estimated refund date.
See What if the IRS reduces your refund or delays it.
Then when the IRS does send your refund they won't take the fees out again.
And, Why you got charged,
So if they bill us and we pay, then are we getting the full refund or do you still intend to deduct a second charge from our refund? Can you clarify this, as, to me, if you are going to take a cut at both times that is misleading and extortionary.

As stated in the TurboTax support FAQ - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/intuit-account-billing/bank-account-auto...
You can also be auto-debited if you signed up for Pay With My Refund and your refund is sufficient, but the IRS is still holding your refund 36 days after your original estimated refund date. In this case, you'll get the same email notifications from us, except we'll debit the Pay With My Refund fee (if any) in addition to your other TurboTax fees.
You will only be charged Once for the TurboTax account fees and the $40 third party Pay With My Refund fee.
Turbo tax said they would do my taxes for a total of 242.00 but my federal tax of 281.00 was intercepted by the government for arrears of child support I now keep getting notifications from turbo tax to pay 242.00 or it will taken from my bank account. I don't have it. Didn't receive the money for federal tax. Isn't there a way to reduce my fee or get it dropped all together?? Please anybody who knows help me figure this out.
Did you choose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund? Is your refund taking an unusually long time to arrive? Or was your refund seized to pay a debt you owed? if so, you signed an agreement that says TT can withdraw its fees from your account. TurboTax would have sent several emails to you before they took the money out of your account.
TURBOTAX SAYS:
How do you justify debiting my account?
The provision is spelled out in the Pay With My Refund Agreement, which you agreed to when you opted to pay with your refund.
In addition, by clicking the "I Agree" button below, you electronically sign and authorize Intuit (through its third party processor) to debit the TurboTax Fees, Additional Products and Services Purchased and any applicable sales tax from your bank account number identified in the Agreement below, in the event that you do not receive a tax refund that is sufficient to pay for them.
How can I see my TurboTax fees?
