The EIN is correct but it says the wrong company name and address. Can I change it manually? I don't see that option?

@nunnbronco That's a good question.  I don't think that it should cause an issue with e-filing.  What I don't know is if the return is accepted, whether or not it will trigger a verification process on the IRS' end that would delay your return.  If it's even a possibility that an IRS verification process could happen, I would wait.  Since it is a recognized experience, the developers are working to correct it, and will advise you when such has happened (likely soon).  And if you are claiming either Child Tax Credit, American Opportunity Credit, or Earned Income Credit on your return this year, no refund will be processed until February 15th regardless.  Even if that's not the case, waiting a few days now won't hurt, if it will save weeks or even months later.

I have what seems like the same issue using the Deluxe CD version, on a mac. The employer's correct name has an "&" in it. turbtax inserts 4 additional charters after the "&" 7 times in the middle the name: "amp;".

Multiple attempts to save a correction failed. I thought there may be a bug in the import from last year's data. I deleted the 2021 return, started from scratch and manually keyed in the data (no import). The result was the same corruption as I described above.

Please advise on the fix.

Didn't you see the posts above?

The & in W2 box C is not showing correctly.

TurboTax CD/Download W-2 box C not showing ampersand(&) correctly

Use the word "and" instead of the symbol &

Has this been resolved yet?  I have an employer name with & and it’s also adding the amp amp amp.    Should we hold off filing?   Or spell out the word “and”?

@Lewie65

You can sign up at the Help Article here for updates on this.  We are currently working towards a resolution.

In the meantime, please follow the suggestions above which include typing and or omitting the ampersand symbol to bypass this.

It's a small law firm that I've worked for for 25 years. I've used TurboTax for years and this never occurred before.

@lorikennard You posted to an old thread that has had no activity for more than three years.  What problem are you having?
