Yes i did.. i have gotten the tax code every year for the last 4 years. I do owe nys , but every year i still get my full return. Im praying that i do get it this year as i really need it
That's because it's not state of georgia..call the offset line and follow the directions. It will tell you whom is offsetting and date as well as amounts. Your tax transcript will not show those codes..only shows IRS stuff.
Check the IRS transcripts.. you may get updated once a week like mine. TOP only updates every 24 hours.
Check back every 24 hours on the offset line.
I thought I was getting my full refund and I called the offset number and turns out I'm not. If nothing shows up by your ddd then you should be fine. Check your transcript account. But if you have offset..it will not show on IRS form! If you owed past due taxs to IRS,then it will show up.
Press option 2 with TOP. It gets updated every 24hours. 203 is something you owe not a debt. Maybe state past taxes, SSI, state run programs as well can offset.
My husband And I used to have county assistance and they took almost 3k from us.
Even though we entered into an agreement to pay..they still took it. Even if you fight the claim and provide information..operator error like ours..they still come after you even though it's there fault. Good luck
Did you get your refund?
Any news?
I haven't received it. I think I'm a weekly update. All it says is my amount of refund and to call if it's not in my bank by March 17th. I'm not able to access my online transcripts for some reason. I used a credit card and a student loan account and it locked me out for 24 hours :(
@ashlee09 I'm hoping that's my case. It's for IL taxes. I have a message saying if it doesn't hit my account by the 17th to call them. No actual DDD.
I logged into WMR and saw that I have a 203 code and I couldn't figure out why. I called the BFS and was told that I owed state taxes to Louisiana. I don't know how that is possible because I haven't been a resident of Louisiana for 5 years. I moved out to TX, went to school, am currently living in the same apartment from 2015 to now. I made sure to update my mailing address and everything. I even switched over my car registration and I can't understand how I owe them state income tax for a state that I haven't resided in for over 5 years. It makes no sense. Furthermore, when I called Louisiana, the person who picked up had no idea what I was talking about. I need my refund, I am moving soon and I need that money to pay bills. This is so frustrating!!! Could someone please provide me with some insight?
This is something that you will need to speak with the IRS directly. Turbo Tax has no options to dispute an IRS deduction. Please follow the instructions here to contact the IRS.
Will the irs have my direct deposit info even though child support took my refund?
As long as your direct deposit information was on your tax refund, they will have your direct deposit information.
I called n automated message said I owed nothing. So I'm just confused!! I just got this message today.4/18/20. Can anyone help me please
Did they take any $ out of your check? I'm only getting code 203 nothing else. I called [phone number removed] that automated system told me I owe nothing. I'm so so confused 😬😂😭
