Tax filing pending after 48 hrs, with form 5695

I filed 2/8 at 12:30 and mine is still pending. Every year it has been accepted right away.

Call Turbo Tax, they’ll say everything is ok, then book a few minutes later (like 50 mins) it goes thru !!!

I’m in the same situation! Something is definitely going on, waited on form 5695 and submitted on 2/7 and have been stuck on pending ever since. I’ve always been accepted within an hour before this. This is stressing me out, do we have no recourse?

It’s definitely a TT issue filed 2/09 still currently pending with TT. Refiled with TaxAct & return was accepted 6 hours later. I’m never filing with TT again!

Hello, I am also having this same issue as everyone here is having. 
I would like to use TaxAct but am concerned about dual filing and running in to issues with the IRS. How do you cancel the TT submission?  Or will the IRS just reject it bc the TaxAct is already accepted? 
I have seen several people state that they received a couple of hundred dollars more of a refund from TaxAct.  
This makes the concern with paying for tax service a second time less of a concern.

I just read that TT guarantees the best refund or your money back. 
Maybe you could get your fees back from them?

That’s a great idea about us requesting our money back from TurboTax because this is just unacceptable. They should really have a moderator on here, answering our questions. We are all concerned as to why our taxes are in pending status, for no reason.

If TurboTax is aware of an issue on their end, they should make their customers aware so we’re not sitting here wasting our personal time calling and messaging boards in hopes of a status update.

I’m sure at this point, we all regret using TurboTax and wish we would’ve used another tax service but we’re stuck because we already filed our federal returns and It’s not like we can file again Without getting flagged by the IRS.

I’ve used TurboTax for the past nine years, but it sucks to say that this will most likely be the last time ever use their service. I wish TurboTax would take some accountability and help out their customers. Extremely disappointed.

After calling twice, and talking to people who have no idea what they are doing, I decided to file on freetaxusa. It was really free for federal, and 14.99 for state. Federal has already been accepted, within 30 minutes!

I filed with this form on the morning of 2/8 and I’m still in limbo as well. Finally I’m narrowing down what the deal is because it usually takes very little time for our return to be accepted.

Filed 2/7 after the form went live and mine is still stuck on pending as well. After looking through the thread I just might file else where.

I’m on the free federal website freetaxusa.com (you can go to the irs website and click through to make sure you’re on a legitimate link) and am filing again for free. The TT one will be rejected. I called TT support and the level of condescension is stunning. Now that I can do this for free via the IRS why would I bother with TT next year? Forget it.

Update: taxes accepted in 22 minutes and it was free. It’s TurboTax’s issue and it’s unacceptable. Don’t let them lie saying otherwise. Never again.

I called, texted, and chatted with TT five times within 24 hours and was given a multiplicity of “explanations” for this situation.

By the fifth contact, I was told “Im sure it will be accepted by Monday.” 

About 15 mins later, the Fed return was accepted and this am the State was accepted. I also had my advance in KC deposited.
