Tax filing pending after 48 hrs, with form 5695

Me Also. 72 Hours. Went and looked at Forms. It says form 5695 not completed. I only had a carryover from last year. It looks like I still had to enter the address where solar was installed. Form now says it is okay. What do I do? Transmit again?

That would be swell. 

But Turbo Tax won't allow you to recover from their mistakes. You have to wait until either they fix it or reject it.

Because they don't known how to program, nor error check apparently...

Hey…so I went ahead and filed with TaxAct. 
My return was accepted in less than 30 minutes. Also, my return is $649 more!!

Everything the same, form 5695 or whatever it is, all my deductions etc. 

it as 💯 free to file. I don’t file state bc I’m in TX. 

I am floored. Makes me wonder if I should go amend prior years taxes now. 
I’ve been filing with TT for 21 years. I have never questioned them until they pulled this move. 
I just read that they are being investigated for predatory marketing schemes. There is a class action lawsuit. Wonder if there will be more lawsuits coming? Including taxpayers who are being misled and ripped off with this clean energy form nonsense.

can you tell me what addition of tax act you used?I spent 2 hrs on the phone with TT yesterday. I got no results.  I even re-did my entire taxes in a “new return “ but it still wouldn’t let me file it said duplicate. My only recourse is to go to Tax Act.

I have the same issue; filed on Friday 2/9/2024, still pending and Irs2go app cannot find my return

Also, when I filed the return, the app did identify the address issue in form 5695 and asked me to fix it. It was “fixed at that time” but this morning I just checked the same issue popped up again. I fixed it again but the updated form cannot  be filed again.

I have been pending since 02/08/2024. Same situation.

Been almost 4 days since I filed with TT "return checker" showing NO ERRORS and yet  IRS not yet accepting return(shows as PENDING).   So I go back into TT, do updates,  and now see an "exclamation mark" next to the 5695 marking an error.  Obviously, something changed AFTER they (TT) said the form was ready to file and I filed

The error from TT  "checker" was:  "Line 21C, Address Needed."   Really???   How long is that going to delay me??  Thanks TT.

@Jennyalmen22 Nope. Still pending with TT. No movement whatsoever.

I refiled with H&R Block. Was accepted by the IRS within minutes and is visible on WMR.
