My taxes say received by turbo tax but unknown for federal and MI. Does that mean TurboTax hasn’t sent them?

I was thinking the same thing due to how long its taken so far.  I was worried they didnt send it or something. So after weeks I called tdoay and told them what was happening and about how long its been. She checked and confirmed they did have refund in their system and that they arent even set to be released till 21 days after 1/27/20 . But that its normal for the system to not find it until its beem released.

I finally got ahold of the IRS today because I was worried after how long its been maybe they didnt recieve it, or information was inputed wrong. But Today the Woman for the IRS checked their system for my refund and she said they did in fact have it and that they're scheduled to be released  21 days after 1/27/20 . And that its completely normal not to be able to track it or find it on the site till its been released. Hope this helps. I know it brought me some comfort

Yup and if you decided to pay turbocrack With the refund then expect it to take maybe extra month depending on when you filed.

Only the IRS will know exactly when you will receive your refund. 

You can track your return by checking the Where's My Refund website located here. 

If you elected to have your fees deducted from your refund, the IRS will send your return to Santa Barbara Bank, where they will deduct the fees and then deposit any remaining refund into your account.

Turbo Tax will not send your return to the IRS, you have to do this by transmitting your return. Once you transmit the return, the rest is up to the IRS. They will accept or reject it. If it is rejected you will have to make corrections and submit again. Once it is accepted, you will have to check the IRS website for any updates. They will not update Turbo Tax with your return status.
