My software will not let me efile my last return, it says I have used my limit of 5. I can only count four of my kids/grandkids? Does a married, filing jointly count as two? How does TT count?

Annnd.....you are now learning that you should always file your own first...the others (especially grandkids) may be simpler...but can wait until later.
_________
One thing people have noted in the past...if any one of the 5 was first rejected for an improper SSN, that counts as one of the 5...even if the SSN fix was later successfully submitted, that successful second attempt counts as another one of the 5.....so 2 are used even if it was really for one file.
The joint return is one return. How many kids/grandkids' returns did you file?

Thank you, that is precisely what happened. I had posted the question because when searching through community responses, I saw one that said a rejected and corrected return only counted as one. Do you know if it is possible to pay for the additional efile?
Sorry, all you can do now is print and mail-file any remaining to be filed.
....or go to a (now overwhelmed) local professional, and pay them. But they may need to file an extension and do it later if they are piled up with customers.
