I filed with TurboTax on February 1st. I have tried calling, been hung up on twice. My brother filed with H & R Block and was able to get his return in 4 days. This is insane.

First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:

Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 35a of your 2021 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.

Each tax return sent to the IRS is unique. How one return is processed cannot be used as an indicator for how another tax return will be processed.
If accepted by the IRS use the federal tax refund website to check the refund status - https://www.irs.gov/refunds
After the tax return has been Accepted by the IRS (meaning only that they received the return) it will be in the Processing mode until the tax refund has been Approved and then an Issue Date will be available on the IRS website.

Yep, that's what seems to be happening. People that file in person are getting their returns, or at the very least getting feedback on what to do and then getting their returns. I'm still waiting since Jan 24. Went to tax payer advocate office and couldn't be seen cause I didn't have an appointment. Told the lady I've been trying to make an appointment for 40 days and can't get through. She said I would have to keep trying as she could not make appointments in person. Will definitely go into an office next year.
