What are you trying to do? If you are not claiming her on your tax return you do not enter anything about her on your return. Are you preparing her tax return now? Use the address where she wants to receive mail from the IRS on her tax return. People move all the time....you do not need to worry about the address on her W-2.
I'm filing her taxes now, yes. Thank you for the information! I get such a brain fog trying to figure these things out (Narcolepsy), so thank you for helping! I truly appreciate you taking the time!
Remember to go to the recovery rebate credit for her so she can get the stimulus money as part of her refund,
The stimulus check is an advance on a credit you can receive on your 2020 tax return. If something went wrong or you did not get the stimulus check in 2020, you can get it when you file your 2020 return in early 2021
The Recovery Rebate Credit will be found in the FEDERAL REVIEW section. ( you should see "Let's make sure you got the right stimulus amount”) If you are eligible it will end up on line 30 of your 2020 Form 1040.
Make sure that you enter ALL of the stimulus money received for the 1st ad 2nd stimulus for yourself, your spouse and your children.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the screen. Click on Tools. Click on View Tax Summary. Click on Preview my 1040 on the left side of the screen.
The address on the return should be where she can get mail if the IRS/state want to send her something. Her state of residence is where she lives permanently and may not be the same. She will file a state return in the resident state even if she uses your address for mailing.
