I need a copy of the filed 4868 form. How do I get that?

@SEA-user You have to sign onto your online account using the exact same User ID you used to create the online account to e-file the Form 4868.

To access your online account sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

If you forgot your User ID -

Close all TurboTax windows on your web browser (including this one).  Copy and paste the account recovery website link onto a new web browser window and run the tool.

Use this TurboTax account recovery website to get a list of all the User ID's for an email address.  Run the tool against any email addresses you may have used - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/account-recovery

If none of the user ID's received will access your 2019 account, then use the option shown in blue on the account recovery website, "Try something else"

I tried that. We filed the extension for my wife and myself. My account cannot be found at all and my wife's account is empty (screenshot)

On the phone they only want to sell me on a full account

I am pretty upset. I am happy to pay for a service but not getting tricked into one. I did not know that was Intuit's business model

Then do not use the phone number.  Use the website to contact support.  Once you complete the information on the website you will get a toll free phone number and a support incident number.  That should connect you with a support agent.

Or use the web pages for Facebook or Twitter...

I did fill out the form and got the toll free number and case number. The automated text after calling the number tells you to upgrade to a paid account to get support. Is that the only way to get access to the filings?

If you used the Free online account then you would have to upgrade to one of the other online editions which are not free.

If you got through to get a toll free number and incident number you must have used a User ID to get to that section of the web page.

Try this -

Sign onto your online account with the User ID that you used - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state. 

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen.  Then click on Print Center.  Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return.  Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets

If you do not get the Tax Home web page when you sign on the try this to find your account -

Use the account recovery website - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/account-recovery

Use the option shown in blue on the account recovery website, "Try something else"

Complete the form presented on the web page -

Why do you even need the form? Really is useless once it has been filed the IRS know your filed it and you don't have to tell them that you filed it.

This is how my account looks like. It looks like I can only start to file a return which I do not need. My CPA is doing that

You really do not need the 4868 since you already know it was accepted by the IRS.  And if you paid taxes with the extension you know how much was paid.

The form 4868 is not included in the federal tax return that you file.  You only have to enter the amount of taxes paid with the extension on the federal tax return, if any.
