if we owe money to the IRS, should the payment method be check ? or can it be done online as well?
Hey Haritha,
I am also in a similar messed up situation . Any information/ help would be greatly appreciated.
It’s best to pay the IRS online directly on their website at Make a Payment. You can also send a check or money order.
You can file an amended non-resident return, Form 1040-NR, through TurboTax partner Sprintax.com. You will probably owe with your amendment because you cannot claim the standard deduction on Form 1040-NR.
