Why is it so hard to get a reply

This posting from 9 minutes ago is the only posting I see for you. Based on the title of this thread, I assume that's also your question. The Federal refund and state refund come separately. They are from 2 different tax agencies.

What is the State of California franchise tax board?
@Bryanrendon10 That is the state taxing authority for the state of CA--that is where you send your state tax return and that is who will send your state income tax refund or collect the payment for your state tax due.
The Franchise Tax Board (FTB) is the agency responsible for collecting state personal income taxes in California. It functions on the state level similarly to the IRS.
State of CA Franchise Tax Board
Ok I’m sorry I’m a little lost , so with that being said that is not my federal refund right ?
@Bryanrendon10 If the refund came from the franchise board it is from the state of CA. It is not your federal refund. Your federal refund will come from the U.S. Treasury.
Okay so I got one which is from the Us Treasury offset program, so I’m just waiting on the state refund right? I received The us treasury & the franchise one I mention
Your state refund was the one that came from the franchise board. There are only two possible income tax refunds--federal and state. Sounds like you received them both. (Unless you lived and worked in some other state and file a state return for that other state too)...
It would be a good idea for you to print out your tax returns and look at them so that you will have a better idea of exactly what you filed and what the refund amounts were.
So when will I receive my state refund it’s been 2 weeks since I got the federal how much longer does it take?
Federal and state refunds come from completely separate entities, There is no rule as to which one will come first or how much time there will be between their arrivals. Some states process returns quickly and some are very slow.
STATE RETURN
Make sure your state return was accepted: https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/

Every return is different. I got my state refund before I got federal. Only your state can tell you. Your state should have a refund lookup on their website.
