Now I’m starting to believe Turbotax has not transmitted anything to the IRS. My transcripts for 2020 are blank/empty. TurboTax is saying my return was accepted federally and by the state, but the tool is saying otherwise. I’m getting annoyed and nervous

I filed a couple weeks ago and both my federal and state are still in pending status. I thought the federal started accepting returns on 2/12 and normally get an accepted reply within 24 hours.
@es1600gtl it definitely sounds like a TurboTax problem which is ridiculous. I know someone who filed through Jackson Hewitt and already has a refund date for the 19th
I tried this morning to see my tax filing on the IRS site, My refund tool. It says they have no record of my filing. Its making me very nervous. I have nothing special but just a little money coming back but they have no record of it. I filed on the 4th of Feb. , was accepted on the 11th , I thought they were doing it on the 12th, and within 24 hours it is supposed to show up with the IRS. Where the heck is it ???
I’m on the phone with a TurboTax rep and they are stating they aren’t aware of this problem. That is pure ridiculousness. Soon as you click on the After You File discussion thats literally all the topics I see. I urge anyone who’s having this issue to call because supposedly they are “unaware of it”.
My federal tax return was accepted on the 12th and I have been able to see the status on the IRS website starting on the 13th.
@JT209 That gives some hope. Thanks for giving your update
TurboTax does not send tax returns to the IRS or a state. Tax returns are pulled from the TurboTax servers by the IRS and States.
Your tax returns will remain Pending until the IRS starts pulling tax returns from the TurboTax servers. It may be several days after the IRS start date before your tax return gets accepted or rejected.
The IRS has to pull millions and millions of tax returns from servers throughout the country after the official IRS start date of 02/12/2021.
The IRS website says the information is wrong because the IRS has not yet started to process the 2020 tax return after accepting the tax return. When the IRS starts to process the tax return then there will be a status on the IRS website.
@DoninGA TurboTax sent me an email on February 11th stating it was accepted. The information is not in my transcripts nor the WMR tool as of today.

It can take the IRS several days or longer to start to process a tax return so that there will be a status on the WMR website. Just because someone else's tax return has started to be processed by the IRS does not mean that everyone's tax return that has been accepted by the IRS will start to be processed.
That makes me feel a little better. Guess I will keep checking. I had no issues last year but I used a different IRS free way to file. I filed on March 28th and had my return plus the stimulus on the 15th of April.
