Married filled jointly in 2019 and 2020. Filled late for 2019 since it was an extension by July 15th, 2020. I even got transcript from IRS, however, only 0 (zero) worked for 2019 AGI. Got rejected again, and was asked for my wife 2019 AGI, responded zero again, and it went through. After Federal succeeded, I sent the state one. (since the state rejected because federal rejected).
Thanks for this info. It's really helpful as I was concerned when the Turbo Tax rep told me to put in zero for my AGI when my return was rejected, but as it turns out, I did put in the zero and it was accepted on the second try, and the link you provided further explains this. I did ask the rep I spoke with last night as to why zero, but she said that it was what the management team said to do but she really did not know why. So thank you.
If you've read any of these questions and comments then you know that many of us experienced this issue. I too filed my 2019 return in January this year. Obviously very late. I finished my 2020 return last night and it was initially rejected. I reached out to a Turbo Tax rep who told me that even though my AGI number is correct to put in a zero instead. I did that and it was accepted. Reason is the IRS is way behind in processing both e-filed and paper returns. They are still working on returns filed in July last year. Therefore they do not yet have my 2019 AGI number in their system and this is why it was rejected. Scroll through and you will see where a Turbo Tax employeed povided a link to the IRS website explaining all of this which was very helpful to read as I was a little concerned about putting in a zero, but not any more as it's stated to do so on their website. Keep in mind too that the deadline to file as been extended to May 15.
The number that I called to reach a Turbo Tax representative is [phone number removed]. I did not have to wait long but then again it was late last night when I called.
deduct 600.00 refund

AGI 19370
This is a very long thread, I do not see your question. Can you post your question or issue?
Why is the IRS deducing 600 dollars from my refund. And why is it rejecting my taxes again
Please check the rejection FAQ here if your return is being rejected.
We are unable to see your return here in this public forum.
We do not know why the IRS is deducting money, you would need to contact the IRS by following the instructions here.
The AGI amount entered doesn't match what the IRS has for 2019. I took the amount right off the 2019 electronic filing AGI and verified it with line8b of the 1040-SR form tax return.
My 2020 taxes keep getting rejected can you help me
Please review the this FAQ @Lesliekmc.
@Fred2335 What is the Rejection Code that you are receiving?
Please see this TurboTax FAQ, for more information, How do I fix a rejected return? - TurboTax
My 2020 tax return is rejected the code says . IND_031-04 the primary tax payers AGI or sells select pin does not match IRS records. I just redone it and put in 0 for my taxes in 2019 like you said and just sent it in again
