How you chose to pay the federal tax owed will be on the Federal Filing Instructions page included with your tax return.

Sign onto your TurboTax online account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Scroll down and click on Add a State.  This will take you back to the 2019 online tax return.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Then click on Print Center. Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return.

And did you efile successfully ?   Does the account status show as ACCEPTED ?

If it is then review your Direct Debit bank information for accuracy especially the routing number ... check with the bank for accuracy. Sometimes the number on your check is not correct for ACH deposits.

Your only proof is your bank statement or credit card showing it coming out. You don't exactly pay though Turbo Tax. You put down your bank account and routing number on your return for the IRS to directly take it out of your account. Maybe the IRS had trouble taking it out of your bank account? Or you said you would mail a check and then mail a check or go to the IRS website to pay by direct debit or credit card. So if you still need to pay.... www.irs.gov/payments
