Only the IRS can give you the exact date of your refund. To track the status and see personalized information regarding your refund, please visit the IRS Where's My Refund? site.
Ive been using that app they made for it and it tells me they are still processing my information and will post a date. I filed april 4th. They told me april 25 would be the refund date. It still says the same thing. Pmease help.

TurboTax gives you an estimated date for receiving your refund based on a 21 day average from your date of acceptance, but it can take longer. Many refunds are taking longer during the pandemic.
Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 20 of your Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.

Thanks. I was just curious because my roommate filed a few days ago and already received his refund via mail. I thought since i had direct deposit it wouldve been there by now. Also Do i have to have received my refund in order to be eligible for the stimulus check?
@Dahbowman The IRS is using either 2018 or 2019 returns to look at and issue stimulus checks. If you filed a 2018 return they might use that one if your 2019 has not yet been fully processed. If you did not file for 2018 then you may have to wait until they get finished with 2019.
