Use exactly the same account and user ID that you used for the past returns. You might have to just enter a little of your personal info into a 2021 return to get the software to let you in to the old returns---but you do not have to complete the 2021 return if you don't want to or are not ready.
You have to access your own account and/or print it for yourself using exactly the same account and user ID that you used when you prepared the return.
Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them. Log out of the account you are in now.

Or did you use the desktop version of TurboTax? If so, the files are on your own hard drive or any backup device you used like a flash drive.

SAVE YOUR TAX RETURN !
EVERY year before mid-October you should save a copy of your tax return as a pdf and print a copy of it for your records. That way you will not be searching online frantically when you need it for a lender, FAFSA forms, your next tax return, etc.
https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1900937-why-should-i-save-a-pdf-copy-of-my-return
The account I am using is the correct one and only one. My tax return itself is no what I need. The tax return shows up. It's the files I uploaded to submit my return that I need, W2's. I specifically used TT and paid for it because they advertised storing on to my files as long as I had the account WITH easy access anytime I needed them. I've also not used the TT app, I only file on the website. As I scroll through I actually have none of my old files from any years that I've filed. Maybe I am missing where they should be but there is very little to the actual interface of the site. I scroll down, select my year, and hit "select docs". Yet, there is nothing in any docs of any year.
TurboTax stores your files in the docs section if you uploaded the files to that section. It is just a storage place and only has what you decided to store there. Noth ing gets stored there automatically. You still should save paper copies of things like your old W-2's.
Did you enter your documents into My Docs? That is not done automatically. You have to follow the steps to save documents there:
If you did not save your documents in My Docs
I NEED A COPY OF MY W-2 (or 1099)
TurboTax does not have a copy of your W-2—the Wage & Tax Statement—issued to you by your employer, (nor does TurboTax have copies of your 1099’s). You should always save those documents for your own records. You could ask the employer(s) for copies or you can get a copy from Social Security (for a fee of $90).
To get a copy of a W-2 from Social Security https://faq.ssa.gov/en-us/Topic/article/KA-02501
If you saved a pdf of your completed tax return, the worksheets will show the W-2 information you entered, but not the actual W-2.
You can get a wage and income transcript from the IRS: It will not show the actual W-2, 1099’s, etc, but will show the income information the IRS received. It will not, however, show your state information. It will only show the federal information.

Or you can pay the IRS $43 for an actual copy of your tax return which will include copies of your W-2’s
