Is it possible to start where I left off filling out my tax return.?

Yes, you can pick up where you left off. If you haven't filed your return yet and would like to pick up where you left off, please follow the steps below (First log out):

1. Sign back into your TurboTax account.
2. Click Take me to my return.
3. Choose Pick up where I left off.

If you do not see those options:

Follow these steps:

• Sign into your account
• Click on the My TurboTax menu and select  Visit My Tax Timeline 
• Under SOME THINGS YOU CAN DO click on Add a state. (You are not really adding a state to your return but this allows you to get back into your return.)

You can file an extension from our website Free federal tax extension is now available,

• You will need to file by October 15, 2026.
• However, you must estimate and pay the taxes you owe now.
  • You can make payments electronically through the Direct Pay system 
  • Or you can pay by check or money order through the mail to specific locations based on your residence. 
  • Cash isn't an accepted form of payment.

Sorry... I'm new to this.

TurboTax (Deluxe) Desktop for PC used to open to the last page we worked on, after closing it. Now, it opens at the very beginning, as if for the first time. Do you know how to make it open to the last page we entered information on?  Thank you.
