IRS Transaction Codes

I have the following codes on my account and it’s almost a 8 months since I filed. 

290 ADDITIONAL TAX ASSESSED 9/13/2021 $0.00

570 ADDITIONAL ACCOUNT ACTION  9/13/2021 $0.00

971 NOTICE ISSUED 9/13/2021 $0.00

why haven’t I gotten my return and why does this mean?

Seems that the IRS is informing you of the steps during the processing of your return. I would think that you would receive your refund soon if qualified.

Code 971 is for IRS internal use only and could be referring to more than 100 different things which is why looking at the transcript can be confusing at best.
