Do you need to file a 2018 return or to add them to 2018 you did file? Yes you should file them. Unless the total is under 12,000 and that is your only income. Then you only need to file to get back any withholding taken out on them.
Online for 2018 is closed now so you can not start a new 2018 return or finish one. Online is only for 2019. Oct 15, 2019 was the last day to efile. 2018 is now the prior year.

You can only buy the download for prior years. You have to buy a separate program for each year. They only sell the last 3 years. You need a full Windows or Mac computer to install it on. Buy the download here

You have to print and mail prior year returns. When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS received the return. Don’t forget state.
Important! Mail Federal and State in separate envelopes and mail each year in separate envelopes.
If you are getting a refund, there is not a penalty for filing past the deadline. You have 3 years to file for a refund. If you owe taxes, the interest/penalties will be calculated by the IRS based on how much you owe and when they receive your return and payment. The IRS will bill you for this; it will not be calculated by TurboTax.

I filed 2019 but was suppose to be 2018. All the info was 2018
Online is only for 2019 returns.
If you actually submitted and filed with the wrong info or left something out etc., then you have to wait until the IRS Accepts or Rejects it. If it Rejects you can fix it to be for 2019 and resend it. BUT if it is Accepted then you need to wait for the IRS to fully process your return and you get the first refund or pay the tax due. Then you can fill out an Amended Return 1040X and change everything to be only the 2019 info. So if you have filed DO NOT change or enter anything else into your return until you find out if you have to amend.
Again DO NOT CHANGE or enter anything into your return if you already filed. You will have to start the Amended return with the original return that was filed. How to amend 2019
