Was your first return Accepted? Or did it reject because you were claimed by someone else?
If your return went through then you will need to amend. And if their return is rejecting because you claimed yourself they will need to print and mail their return (even if you amend).
You should not amend until the first return has fully processed and you get the first refund or your tax due payment has cleared.
How to Amend
You do not re-file the tax return. To change your dependency from the original tax return you will have to amend the return that was filed.
When amending the tax return, in the My Info section of the program you edit your personal information and remove your selection that you could be claimed as a dependent.
An amended return, Form 1040-X, can only be printed and mailed to the IRS if the original tax return was not e-filed. The IRS will take up to 16 weeks or longer to process an amended tax return.
Before starting to amend the tax return, wait for the tax refund to be received or the taxes due to be paid and processed by the IRS.

Do you mean that when you filed your tax return you incorrectly said that no one could claim you as a dependent, but you can be claimed and you need to amend? You will do that on a Form 1040X. When you go through My Info again, click on your name and when you get to the screen where it asks if you can be claimed as someone else's dependent answer YES that you can be claimed.
