Did you enter the information correctly?

In the TurboTax Online program,  

• After sign in to your account, select Pick up where you left off
• At the right upper corner, under Search, type in "stimulus" and Enter
• Select Jump to stimulus
• Follow prompts to answer the questions and enter the amounts.

I entered  my S.S. amount wrong.

You will need to amend your return.

1. Log into Turbo Tax assuming you use Turbo Tax online
2. When you reach the landing page, scroll to the bottom where your tax returns and documents are.
3. Select 2020, and click on the option to amend and change return.
4. Answer the questions about why you are amending
5. Once you begin working in your return, your refund monitor will reset to 0. 
6. Go to federal>income and expenses>retirement plans and social security>show more
7. Social Security (SSA -1099,RRB-1099)
8. Correct the amount

Filed through TurboTax it came back a mistake then I had a tax person do it and it still came back mistake please help me fix it it's a matter of putting in a wrong number

Please help me I've been trying ever since March and I can't get anyone to help me and TurboTax and doing my taxes for the longest time and they made the mistake I need my refund please help me

@Lygretta No one can see your tax return or your screen.   We cannot guess what went wrong with your tax return.   What do you mean when you say a "tax person" was involved?   Did you use online TurboTax Live---or did you have your tax return prepared by a paid preparer somewhere?    Please provide some details so we can figure out how to help.   Do not post any of your personal information like SSN or email, etc.

@Lygretta  What number is wrong?  The most common wrong number is the 2020 AGI to efile.

Try entering 0 for the AGI.  The IRS took a long time last year to process 2020 returns so the AGI didn't get entered in time. When did you file 2020? If it was late in the year or you mailed it, try putting in 0 (zero) for the AGI. And see,

If you can’t get it to efile you will have to print and mail it.

Be sure to attach copies of your W2s and any 1099s that have withholding on them. You have to mail federal and state in separate envelopes because they go to different places. Get a tracking number from the post office when you mail them for proof of filing.
