I have to amend my 2019 taxes; however, right after taxes my computer's hard drive took a nose dive and took all my files with it. This included my tax information. I used the turbo tax CD and I can't access my information. Please help. It is telling me I have to do my taxes all over again to be able to amend. Somebody help.

sorry. if the only place you stored your tax info and tax file was on your hard drive, you would have to obtain copies from the original sources or the IRS, TT doesn't have them. another source is the IRS. you can obtain a transcript of your return once it has been processed. if not do not rush to file an amended return until it is.
If you don't have a backup of the file ending in .tax2019 you would have to first recreate your original return. Do you have a print out you can use?
You can recreate the original return using the Forms Mode. Then when it matches each line you say to mail it and print it out so it thinks it was filed. Then you can amend. How to amend a Desktop return,
