How long does it take for mailed check to come in the mail after IRS has sent it

The check will be mailed to the address on file with the IRS - the address on your most recently filed tax return.  The Post Office has been VERY slow, with heavy demands on their resources.  It also depends on where you're located.  Check the date given in the IRS tool, Get my Payment and start watching your mailbox about a 10 days after the mailing date.

You are asking us to predict how long it will take the U.S. postal service to deliver an envelope to your mailbox.   How long does any normal first class mail usually take to get to you?   Allow 7-10 days and be pleasantly surprised if it is sooner.  Watch your mailbox/

@Mrharper50   What was mailed?  Did the IRS mail you a check or did you mail your tax return on April 16?  Turbo Tax doesn't mail anything to you or for you.

Hey candy so my tax refund was deposited into my bank account on June 9 the bank rejected and it got sent back to the irs June 10 so when do you think I should get my check

@Keyoina26  If your direct deposit went to a wrong or closed account it will take several weeks before you receive a check in the mail from the IRS.  No one can tell you exactly when it will arrive.   It will be mailed by first class mail without any sort of tracking so you will simply have to keep watching your mailbox for it.
