Revisit that section to make a correction ...
Yeahhhh that doesn't help me. I would need to find where I can go edit the numbers in the Recovery Rebate Credit Worksheet is.
Why won't that help? You have to go back to that screen and enter the right amount in each of the 2 boxes. That should fix it.
When you go through the federal review tab it will ask how much you got if any. Or to enter your stimulus payment in TurboTax, type "stimulus" (without the quotes) in the Search box, then click the link that says "Jump to stimulus." Say no to the amounts it shows you. Then 2 boxes will open up for each round. If you didn't get one enter a 0 in the box.
After you have entered your tax information and are ready for the Federal Review, it will be the first question.
If you are trying to trigger it, you can go to Other Situations, answer any questions and click Done. The next automatic selection is Federal Review and it will ask about payments received.

See screenshot
I had a box I needed to fill in when I was finalizing my taxes. What appeared was the Recovery Rebate Credit Worksheet. It wanted me to fill in box 16 for eip1 in that worksheet. I did not put the right number in when I went to continue. It then asked me about box 19 for eip2. I put the right amount in that box because that's when I realized what it was asking me for.
Anyways, I want to go back to that worksheet so I can change the numbers in there. Not the screen where you guys are showing me. I did that already.
Then go though the Review again and see if that error or worksheet shows up to fix.
I did go through the review again but it didn't show up again because I already put numbers into it.
Then print out your return with all the worksheets to preview it and see if it is right. Before filing you can preview the 1040 or print the whole return. You have to pay any fees first before you can see all the forms, etc.

If that doesn't give all the worksheets, Here's an alternate way to print by opening the filed return back up to print at the Print Center, where you can also get the worksheets.
Log in and at the Tax Home or in the section Your Tax Returns & Documents for 2020, look for a link Add a State. Click on Add a State. (you don't really add one. That's just to open your return back up.)
After the return is open, click in the left menu column on TAX TOOLS, then PRINT CENTER.
Then choose Print, save, view this year's return.
The next screen should offer some options: Just my tax returns or include government worksheets (optional), or include government and TurboTax worksheets (optional.)
This doesn't work for me. My 1040 won't load, and Turbotax will not display information about my EIC while following these steps. How do I get this to work? I am using the online version
You could go through the EIC section again under Deductions & Credits.
If you can't 'View my 1040' from the Tax Tools menu, you may need to close TurboTax, close your browser and clear cookies & cache.
Here's How to Clear Cookies and How to Clear Cache.
