On April 4, 2024, I filed, via Turbo Tax, my 2023 tax return. I paid Turbo Tax's fee, $129. I see where the fee was received. I do NOT see where my tax return was filed. And IRS shows no refund although I claimed a refund of $372.

Paying the TurboTax online account fees does not file your tax return.
Did you e-file your tax return and was it accepted?
Only the IRS and your State control when and if a Federal or State tax refund is Approved and Issued.
You complete your tax return by finishing all 3 Steps in the File section. In Step 3, to e-file your tax return, you must click on the large button labeled "Transmit my returns now".
After completing the File section and e-filing your tax return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first email when your tax return was transmitted and the second email when the tax return has either been accepted or rejected.
Note - Once a tax return has been Accepted by the IRS or a State, TurboTax receives no further information concerning the tax return or the status of any tax refund. Only the taxpayer listed on the tax return can obtain the status of a tax refund or a tax return.
To check the status of an e-filed return, open up your desktop product or log into your TurboTax Online Account. You can find your status within the TurboTax product.
If accepted by the IRS use the federal tax refund website to check the refund status - https://www.irs.gov/refunds
If accepted by the state use this TurboTax support FAQ to check the state tax refund status - https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1899433-how-do-i-track-my-state-refund
After the tax return has been Accepted by the IRS (meaning only that they received the return) it will be in the Processing mode until the tax refund has been Approved and then an Issue Date will be available on the IRS website.

My problem, at age 82, is I do not remember if those early steps happened. Maybe I didn't click the big button to finalize the filing. But now I cannot find the tax return that I prepared. Has it gone into cyberspace?
@sdbluestem You have to sign onto your 2023 TurboTax online account using the exact same User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
See this TurboTax support FAQ for how to view all of your TurboTax accounts - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/account-management/many-intuit-accounts-...
When signed onto your account the status of the tax return will be shown. It will either show as Accepted, Rejected, Printed or Ready to Mail. If it shows anything other than Accepted then the tax return was not e-filed.
You can go back to the File section of the program and e-file the tax return assuming the return has been completed without any errors.
When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.
This will take you back to the 2023 online tax return. Click on File and then complete all 3 steps in the File section to e-file your tax return.
