You have to access your own account and/or print it for yourself using exactly the same account and user ID that you used when you prepared the return.
Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them. Log out of the account you are in now.

Or did you use the desktop version of TurboTax? If so, the files are on your own hard drive or any backup device you used like a flash drive.

SAVE YOUR TAX RETURN !
EVERY year before mid-October you should save a copy of your tax return as a pdf and print a copy of it for your records. That way you will not be searching online frantically when you need it for a lender, FAFSA forms, your next tax return, etc.

NOTE: TurboTax and the IRS save return for seven years. Returns older than seven years are purged.
Nope. What happened is when I got to the end and clicked "compare to last year's return", there was no data. So I went to import my 2021 return from my desktop software. Clicking this reset my entire 2022 return. What!? Bad design--the 2 products (desktop vs online) don't work together. Not only do they not work together, but the online version completely deleted my entire 2022 return, with no obvious way to recover it. No help except to post to this message board. By now I've already redone on Taxslayer.com The UI isn't has pretty, but it never lost my data.
You entered your 2022 data and then tried to transfer the 2021 tax file? You did it backwards. You have to transfer 2021 into 2022 before you enter ANY new 2022 data.
How to transfer last year’s return? https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1900883
Here's an idea: the product doesn't prompt me for last year's data until the very end. then when they try to transfer it, let's reset everything that the customer has put in from 2022, so that it's completely unrecoverable. Yikes. Wow. It makes me wonder what other major issues there are in the software that I did notice... What a horrible design. :(
