I just receive a corrected W2 form from my form employer for 2020. The correction was with an increase in the amount of SS withheld from around 4000 to 6000. Do I need to file an amended return for that year? If so, can this be accomplished through TurboTax since it was completed by them?
Thank you

If all that was changed is the Social Security wages or Social Security taxes withheld there is no need to amend the tax return. The SS information is not entered on a tax return unless you had two or more employers and the total SS taxes withheld exceeded the maximum amount for the tax year.
As @DoninGA states you will not need to amend your return for those changes. As part of COVID relief some employers deferred social security tax withholding for a period in 2020. Once that period ended the social security taxes were recuperated in 2021 by increasing withholding for a period. That required the corrected W2 for 2020 so that your social security records were reconciled.
