Charged for unused product

I have recently filed my taxes through your company TurboTax which I believed was free but instead was charged for self employment TurboTax that I currently am not nor filed with that!! I want a refund from you and an explanation why!!

Ok ... so you PAID the online fee even though you believed it was incorrect ???    Sorry but online fees, once paid, are non refundable.  This is a DIY program   and you are the one responsible for making sure everything is correct before you file  or pay anything.     The time to question the fees was before you paid them and filed the return... when something could be done.  

 

But if you want to try discussing it with TT support go ahead and try ...  

 

To contact TurboTax customer service/support use their contact website during business hours.  If the problem concerns any type of refund for fees, use the key words billing issues and do Not use the word Refund or you will get a phone number for tax refunds.

Submit your question/problem during business hours and then use the option for Call (a phone number will be provided for Call) to speak directly with a TurboTax agent –

I NEVER got the opportunity to change my payment options because it was NEVER an option!! You see the only way I knew that I was charged for self employment was when I went through the one thousand hoops they made me go through just to see what I never agreed to and won’t give me the opportunity to even stop it which is ridiculous!! Thank you I’ll be contacting them as soon as they are available!! I also want other people to know be careful with this company because you can’t control what they take from you weather it’s right or wrong and free is a LIE nothing is free!!!

I was not able to get the charge removed or the product removed there was no option to do that and I tried many different ways even tried to close out and go back into the account and start over but I would not allow me to remove the product I couldn't file my taxes unless I paid and I don't know why it was added to my bill , I was not filing as self employed I was filing just a regular return . So yes I should be refunded that I was charged for that I did not ask for or need or use and had your experts looked over my return that should have been noticed by them too as your saying says " satisfaction Guaranteed" well I am in no was satisfied with being charged for this and I am not satisfied with the response that I was just given to the issue , that was flat out rude !

Please feel free to contact Customer Support so they can assist you. If you inquire about a refund, you will want to use the keywords billing issues when you call so you get to the right person.
