How did you change my checking account because of concern of identity theft. I have direct deposit going to my old one for my tax return need to update my new one. Thank you Christopher Cochran

This can't be changed once you have filed.

     My taxes have been accepted by both the state and federal government.  I owe them this year.  My taxes are schedule to be deducted on July 17,  I need to change the information I gave them as to what card numbers (account) to deduct money owed to them from.  Old card was cancelled due to fraudulent charges on ot. I have a new card for them to deduct the money due to them. 

    How do I change the account information?

For your federal tax due:

TO CANCEL A TAX PAYMENT YOU SCHEDULED

If your return was accepted, you cannot change your payment method  or payment date.  The only thing you can do is cancel the payment and then pay by a different method on your own.

• Call IRS e-file Payment Services 24/7 at 1-888-353-4537 to ask about or cancel your payment, but please wait 7 to 10 days after your return was accepted before calling.
• Cancellation requests must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. ET two business days prior to the scheduled payment date.

And----are you aware that the payment deadline for 2019 federal tax is July 15--you were planning to be two days late.

You will have to contact your state to ask the state if you can change the date/payment method.

Did you already e-file?  If you did NOT e-file you can go to the FILE section and change how you want to receive your refund.

Once a return has been accepted by the IRS you cannot change how you want to receive your refund.

You can't, it's too late.  If the bank rejects your deposit the IRS will mail a check to the address on your return.

Once a tax return is filed the direct deposit information for a tax refund cannot be changed. 

You can change the direct deposit information on the 2020 tax return to be filed in 2021 if you are receiving a tax refund.

Yess I would like to change my direct deposit if possible to receive stimulus

@Starjena23  You cannot change your banking information on TurboTax until you are actually filing a tax return.  Then you can enter your banking information into the FILE section.  IF and when there is a second stimulus check we hope there will be guidelines from the IRS for people who need to change banking information.  At this time---there is no way to do that through TurboTax.
