Cannot access my Fund terrible customer service

First of customer service is terrible and I have been hung up on asking for a supervisor 3 times. My current refund is available with no avail of being able to access to my fund. I received my temporary card in hope of actual turbo tax card would be here in 10 days well guess what it has taken 20 days to received. But in that 20 days I called in order to see status and to get another card shipped well to my surprise the first card got here on day 20 and now cancelled. Great one would think I called to see if I could just get this card reactivated or another temporary card answer is no. I am just trying to figure why I cannot access my money other then this pretty much useless card if someone would have an alternative route to get my money I would be thankful. My frustrations grow with rude support and easy fixes that do not exist. If Im guessing I will not be using turbo tax again seems like my money is going to be held hostage for awhile.

I’m so sorry to hear this. I am in a similar situation as you. TurboTax botched my tax return, they never sent me my money from my 2019 tax return and here we are A FULL YEAR later and I have yet to accomplish anything. The robot phone lines hang up on you, they don’t reply to emails, or they do reply to emails and say they can’t help. When I do get a hold of an actual person they can’t help me, they can’t transfer me, they can’t to anything and it is absolutely maddening how terrible awful this company is. I am literally telling everyone I know to not use them and to tell everyone they know to not use them. They stole my money. They have terrible customer service and it is all hiding an entirely corrupt and messed up business.

Here are some tips I have learned along the way:

 

- turbo tax does not mess with money. Their sister bank the Santa Barbra Tax Group handles money. Then, when it come to actually getting the money it comes from Green Dot bank. Start calling Santa Barbra Tax group and tell them that you are a customer of the worst business on earth TurboTax and you need your money. They won’t help you, but! They are the ones who have your money. 

- if you call Santa Barbra tax payers group, they will put you in a loop on the phone with robots and you’ll never get to a person. So, when it gives you the 3 options select option 3 which is the “Tax professional” line. Once you are on that line it asks for a 6 digit code. I just made codes up until I got in. I have a code that works every time but I don’t want to put it here because then they will know there is a hole in their corrupt castle walls, my hint is when you learn how to count what do you learn. It’s simple. Don’t over think my riddle. 

- lastly, take note of every person you talk to and put what they told you in emails to [email address removed] and you will get codes for everytime you emailed them which you can use as proof that you have been trying to contact them.
