Why was I being charged for live assistant

I known as when I logged in I had no other choice but to be using live assistance. I did not need live assistance. So I just went ahead and kept doing my own taxes. But at the end I was charged some ridiculous amount of money for using live assistance that I never used. If this is the case for now on with turbotax, I will no longer use terrible tax again as I've been doing my tax with, you for many, many years. I'm very upset that. I got you taken for a for something that I am never used. That is the biggest scam I have ever seen

It did the same to me but I didn’t file, wondering if I can file elsewhere now and just delete all the information I have entered

@Jaydeg11 If you have not paid for the online edition you are using, have not filed your tax return or registered the Free edition, then you can clear your return. Click on Switch Products on the lower left side of the program screen while working on the 2025 online tax return. Click on Clear & Start Over

I've been a customer for 20+ years. After the way they FORCED this "Expert Assist" on me this will be my last year using this product. Congrats Intuit... you got an extra $40 from me this year but you lost a customer for life.

+++++++ I will also be writing my state Attorney General office to complain about the SLEAZY way they forced this UNWANTED and product on me. I never wanted "Expert Assist", they decided that I want this, not me. ++++++

Oh yeah... To remove something that I never used I could "delete everything" and start all over again. What a GREEDY PIECE OF TRASH company.

I never selected expert assist so I was shocked when they wanted to take $129 from my refund for a service I didn’t use. I’m going to contact support as soon as I can because that’s ridiculous!!
