Why is TurboTax preventing me from filing my NC state return?

I finished my federal return and was attempting to begin my NC state return but was told that I was unable to do so at this time. Then I was provided the option of leaving my email address in order to be notified when the option would be available.

Lots of state forms are not ready yet.   You have to wait for them.

I received Form D-400 to e-file my NC state return, but Turbo Tax still won't let my e-file my return. When will NC and Turbo Tax be ready to let me e-file my state return.

The North Carolina Individual Income Tax Return Form D-400 is not yet available for e-filing.  It is estimated to be available on 02/24/2022
