TurboTax has gotten increasingly burdensome, overly complex and, frankly, shady in the way it's set up. Why is it so hard to get a receipt? I was overcharged and there's no place to get an invoice/receipt. Then the only info is to click on a link from 2016, which takes you to a page to input an order number. I bet the order number is on the receipt that's nowhere to be found. And then there's no way to just contact you guys. I don't want to call and I paid hundreds for this tool. Why is it so hard to just do a chat or an email? I now have 7 TurboTax tabs open, no receipt and still can't contact you.
I have used TurboTax for over a decade, but every year, it's more expensive, more difficult and there's no justification for the increased prices. Guess you had to pay for that terrible Super Bowl commercial somehow, but seriously...you couldn't invest any of that in ease of use?

I am sorry you are having such difficulties. Try these steps to view the fees charged to you in TurboTax, follow these steps:
The best and most efficient way for you to connect with the right person to get the help you need is to select the version you are using below.
We're open daily from 5 AM to 9 PM PT.
I don't have Tools, Tax Tools or My Fees, anywhere in this area (or anywhere else I can find). I did find it under View Order Details, though there is no option to get help about the fees. So first part down, now the contact part continues to be an issue.
I would suggest that you schedule a callback with a TurboTax expert to get this resolved.
The expert will be able to see your TurboTax screens to guide you screen-by-screen and offer advice.
To schedule a call, click on 'Help' in the top of your screen on the right.
Then select 'Contact us'
Then 'Talk to a person'
Thanks. But that was my exact feedback - there's no way to get the receipt and no way to contact TurboTax. I don't want to talk on the phone. The fact that there isn't a receipt for a company where you would input the details from receipts... This is basic stuff and no way to actually connect with customer service. I don't want to talk to a tax expert because this isn't a tax issue.
For the record, I did just talk to someone on the phone and she confirmed that there was no way to actually get a receipt/invoice (with the totals).
And the overcharge was a combination of the sales tax not showing anywhere and a $40 processing fee that is new and not agreed to before submitting the order.
Question? Did this ever get resolved? I’m going through the same thing now!
Please feel free to contact Customer Support so you can speak with someone who can assist you.
Lol I’ve been on the phone for over two hours with no resolution.
I figured out how to get a receipt/invoice for Turbo Tax.
Go to your account:
https://accounts.intuit.com/app/account-manager/overview
(or you can get there by clicking the icon on the upper right of the web site)
in the left bar, select Products & Billing
Then select TurboTax
Then select Payments
You should see a list. Click on the "..." then "view details" to get a receipt.
Press "print" to print or save it as a PDF.
Good luck!
