Why does my employers name not pull up on TurboTax??

I’m entering it exactly as on W-2 and it says employer not found

Are you trying to import it?  Maybe they are not a partner.  Check the EIN.  It's just as fast and easy to manually enter the W2.  And if you import it can import it wrong.

To enter a W2 manually do NOT enter the EIN
Just hit Continue
Then in pick the Left box - Type it in myself - Continue

To Add a W2 manually get out of this screen and go back and enter it under

Federal Taxes Tab
Wages & Income
Wages and Salaries- Click the Start or Update button

Here is the list of TurboTax Import Partners. If your employer, or your employer's payroll service, is not in the W-2 Partners list then you cannot import your W-2. You have to enter it manually. It's up to the employer to decide whether to be a TurboTax Import Partner.
