Most likely you will either need TurboTax Self Employed online or TurboTax Home & Business desktop. See link below that provides a product comparison of all Turbo Tax products.
Threaputic Support Staff , independent contractor
If you don't have a complex business, TurboTax Deluxe will handle your contractor situation.
You can enter Self Employment Income into Online Deluxe or Premier but if you have any expenses you will have to upgrade to the Self Employed version. Or any of the Desktop programs.
How to enter income from Self Employment
should have been more clear : TurboTax Deluxe CD/download.
You can enter expenses.
I had 3 months of 1099 wages and related milage costs to get there. Which turbo tax should I buy. I did make estimated tax payments.
@dlindsaedt If you had self-employment income----if you worked as an independent contractor---"1099 wages" --- then you need online Self-Employed or any version of the CD/download so that you can prepare a Schedule C for your business expenses. You will be paying self-employment tax for Social Security and Medicare.

You have two choices. You can use TurboTax CD/Download or TurboTax Online (start for free and you will be automatically upgraded to TurboTax Self Employed Online).
When you use TurboTax Online you can access it anywhere easily. TurboTax CD/Download (Desktop) is also versatile if you carry your computer with you.
You want to take advantage of all your expenses to reduce your self employment income since you have both personal income tax and self employment tax (social security and medicare tax).
