Where do I enter 1095a

To enter, edit or delete your Form 1095-A -

  • Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
  • Click on Deductions and Credits
  • Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
  • Scroll down to Medical
  • On Affordable Care Act (Form 1095-A), click the start or update button

Or enter 1095-a in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to 1095-a

Where do I enter 1095a

Follow these steps:

  • Click on Deductions & Credits under Federal
  • Under the menu for Medical, click Start/Revisit next to Affordable Care Act (Form 1095-A)
  • Answer Yes indicating that you have the form to enter
  • Complete the information on the next screen to match your form and click continue

Where do I enter 1095a

I've entered the information as it appears on the form, and TT keeps saying MLSLCP has a zero entered. The corresponding entries for this month are zero or blank, please delete the zero.  We had coverage only during January, so all other entries for the rest of the year ARE Zero, but TT doesn't seem to understand that?  How do I move forward?

If  you have a zero in a box then leave it blank.  

Where do I enter 1095a

I have tried putting in zeros in each column as is actually done on the form 109A, and I have tried leaving the columns that have zeros blank.  All with the same result.  TT highlights the boxes in pink, keeps taking me back to the form, and won't let me transmit my tax returns.  I have checked and double-checked all entries.

TT seems confused, and I'm at my wits end.  Any ideas how to work around?
