I should not have to pay extra to find out if my efile went through... first it would not then tried to print and didn't now says its filed...???

Did you e-file your tax return and was it accepted?  

You complete your tax return by finishing all 3 Steps in the File section.  In Step 3, to e-file your tax return, you must click on the large Orange button labeled "Transmit my returns now".  

After completing the File section and e-filing your tax return you will receive two emails from TurboTax.  The first email when your tax return was transmitted and the second email when the tax return has either been accepted or rejected.

how do I get to transmit my returns now button, or should I say how do I get back to it, it has been a couple weeks since I first did it, and I got so frustrated because it said it could not be send so I tried to print it and just send it and I could not do that.   so I left it alone, but I just got on it today and It says congratulations your taxes are filed....what!!!  so how do I go back to make sure .

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.  See screenshot

This will take you back to the 2018 online tax return.

1. Select File in the left menu.
2. On the Just one more step screen, follow steps 1 and 2 if you haven't already.
3. Select the Start button to the right of Step 3.
4. On the Let's get ready to e-file screen, select I want to e-file.
5. Follow the instructions to e-file your return.
