When will form 8582 be ready?

Online - I tried all the workaround listed in this thread.  STILL NOT WORKING! The form has been available for days now.  When will TT fix the glitch so I can file my taxes?  I don't even get the option to file my federal alone.  If I do that, it forces me to print and mail the state.  When will this issue be fixed? I have already paid and should not have to be changing TT code to file my taxes.

I have the CD download and I cannot file my Maryland State return because of from 8582.  I have rental properties so I need this form.  Token number 925168.  Can you please help?

See     Maryland Individual Forms Availability (intuit.com)

The site does not show 8582 as unavailable.  Click on the link above.  Replace the "md" with the abbreviation for your state.  For instance, my state of Virginia (VA), shows the form first available for print and efile as Feb. 17.

I have been a turbotax user for a very long time. There has never been an issue like this. If I were a new user I would switch to some other tax program, but we have a good history. But this 8582 issue needs resolution now. I understand that federal taxes can not be efiled because of Maryland issue. At least let federal taxes be separated

If you are using the TurboTax online editions, try this to file the federal return -

If you want to e-file your federal tax return now then change how you file the state return.  This assumes that all of the forms and schedules included in your federal tax return are available for e-filing.

If using the TurboTax online editions click on File on the left side of the online program screen.  On Step 3 of the File section click on Start or Revisit.  Select the button File by Mail.  Then change the filing status of the state return.

After the federal return is e-filed and accepted by the IRS you can e-file the state return when it is available for e-filing.  Just use the same procedure and change the state return back to e-filing.

Hi Dawn,

I am also having the 8582 problem with e-filing my Maryland state return and I do need the form included. I attempted to add my name to the "list" of those who receive notifications when the problem is corrected but I go to a search page with a "NOT FOJND" blurb. Can you please add me to whatever notification list exists to advise us when it's ready? Also, I was instructed to send a copy of my return to TT but I can't find the person's name. The Token number is 925568. 

Please advise when you've reviewed this communication. Receiving answers from TT is sketchy at best and inaccurate at worst (it's most typical)

Can we all please get an update on this issue!!!?!? None of the workarounds given work for those of us who have already paid and selected e-file on the Online version. I've paid your $139 FEE to file and my taxes are being held hostage. This is still an ISSUE on the MD return and its preventing us from filing our Federal return as well!!! FORM 8582 is no longer stopping us, but the ACTIVITY WORKSHEET (which is directly related to FORM 8582) is now stopping us!  I've tried all work arounds NOTHING WORKS, and I'm not even able to cancel everything or clear and start over or take my business elsewhere because I've already paid the filing fee. 

THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!! Its been weeks with no clear answers from Turbo Tax! Someone give us some answers!!!!
