When I try to sign at end its not my email address so i don't get ?

When i go to sign at end it says  sending me a code but its not my email address and I don't get a code how come there is a another email address and not mine?

When I try to sign at end its not my email address so i don't get ?

You may be able to go back and edit your email address before e-filing your return.

 

You would update your TurboTax account email, phone number, mailing address, or password in your TurboTax account under "Sign In Security": as follows:

 

  1. Sign in to your Intuit account.
  2.  Click on Sign in & security to update your user ID, password, email address, or phone number,
  3. To update your name, date of birth, address, or occupation, select Profile.

Here are some things that you can try to receive your verification code via text:

 

  1.           Open your TurboTax Account
  2.           Click on "My Account"
  3.           Click on "Account Settings
  4.           Choose the blue Security tab on the left
  5.           Choose Two-Step Verification
  6.           Choose "Turn On"
  7.           Then, enter your Phone Number and Password
  8.           Sign out of TurboTax,and  close your browser and sign back in. You will receive a verification code after signing back into your account. 

 

Depending on where you are in your TurboTax program, you may be able to get the code via text by:

 

  1.          When prompted, select that you want to receive the code via text message. 
  2.         Then, select Continue.
  3.         Don't close your TurboTax window while you’re waiting for your code.
  4.          It may take a few minutes to receive your code.
  5.         If you choose the text option, enter your received confirmation code in the field labeled Enter 6-digit code. Don't enter your confirmation code in the password field.
  6.         Email confirmation no longer requires a code. 
  7.         Simply select the Verify button in the email, and you'll be automatically re-routed to the TurboTax page and verified.
  8.         Select Continue to sign into your account and continue completing your return.

 

Remember, requesting a new confirmation code will cancel the prior code you requested and render it invalid. Always use the most recent code you requested and received.

 

If you are still unable to get the code, select I forgot my user ID or password and then select "I don't know my email address or user ID"

You’ll be asked to provide some information about yourself, and then you’ll be asked a few questions verify your identity. 

 

If that method fails, you’ll get a phone number to contact customer support.
