When I put in my e-file today would I have to wait for January 29th for my advance since that’s when IRS start accepting taxes?

Unfortunately looks like a scammer could have filed under your social. You definitely should inform the irs immediately

After the final review with CK can your preapproval increase? Has anyone received more than what they were approved for?

I submitted my federal and state on the 18th with also applying for a refund advance. They accepted them the next day and I received my refund advance that day as well (19th) It gave me a number for my state but for some reason it says “continue” still next to it.. I’ve gone through and made sure everything was correct.

If you open your state return in TurboTax, and you are seeing a 'Continue' message, it sounds like you did not complete the state Efile process.

Although we can't see your return in this forum, I would suggest that you 'Continue' until you receive a message that your 'State Return has been successfully efiled'.

I got my advance on 1/19 before the irs opened up.
