We never closed this post.  The answer i got from the Moderator is

The integration between QuickBooks Self-Employed and TurboTax Self-Employed only allows one import. The import will only work for the QBSE and TTSE accounts that share the same login credentials. The user will need to manually enter the Schedule C data associated to the QBSE account that has different login credentials into TurboTax Self-Employed. The user can get the Schedule C data from the Tax Summary report in QBSE. Simply sign into the QBSE account, go to Reports, then select 2017 for your Tax.

Is each tax filer completing their own separate SCH C as a part of their joint return? (I have more questions, but one at a time so neither of us gets confused.)

Yes. We'll do separate SCH C's.

Good so far. Now is there a physically separate quickbooks file for each business? (Please say yes! I hope so!)

Yes! They're completely separate. We've been filing them separately for years. The only thing that's changed is that we got married and are filing jointly now.

Here's the trick, and I don't know for a fact if this will work in TT 2017. The last time I pulled this off was back in 2008 or thereabouts.
I assume you've already started the return and thusly imported data from at least one of the QB files. The tricky part that I can't recall how to "make it work" is making the 2nd QB file go to the right SCH C. If things don't go right with the pull of the 2nd file, then you'll probably have to delete both SCH C's and start over. Just let be know and we'll figure it out together.
ALso, my screen shows you're using the online version of Self-Employed, which is basically the same as the desktop version of Home & Business (which is what I'm using). So treat my instructions as guidance, and not as hard fast gospel. The screens, buttons and labels you see, may be different from what I see on my setup.

Under the PERSONAL Tab select the Personal Income sub-tab. If necessary, click the "I'll choose what to work on" button.
The first thing I see in the list of items under the Personal Income (or Wages & Income) tab is called Import Summary. Click the View button to the right of that.
Click Add Other Documents
Scroll down if necessary and select Import From QuickBooks and continue. Work it through and select the QB file to import from.
Repeat the above for the 2nd business, and keep your fingers crossed. I don't recall how the program knows what SCH C to attach things to. So read the screens carefully and completely.

I don't  think so.  According to this FAQ you can only export once.  QuickBooks Self Employed is different than the regular QuickBooks programs.

Thanks for jumping in VG. I myself have and have always used the desktop version of TT and desktop version of QB Pro.

And your tax return and QBSE account has to be the same username.  One of them would be different.

Thanks for all your help. Worst case scenario, I'll just enter everything by hand. I just thought there might be some easy hack. Oh well.

(Filing Jointly Question) When importing 1 spouse's quickbooks self employed data into turbo tax is that person automatically defaulted as the primary tax payer in turbotax, or can you import and have the option to elect the other spouse (that you are keying in data for) as the primary tax payer?

The taxpayer whose name is entered first in the My Info section of the TurboTax online program is the primary taxpayer or the Personal Info section when using the TurboTax desktop editions.

So if you can only get primary tax payer on QBSE, how do you recommend we proceed? My spouse is SE but i am the primary on TT. My name comes up on QBSE and i don't want things to be mixed up
